  Located 23 miles north of Libby, Montana U.S.A and 57 miles south of the Canadian Border at Port Roosevelt outside of Eureka, Montana. Come see this beautiful resort set in the Kootenai National Forest. Surrounded by National Forest property this resort offers lake side cabins, RV sites, marina, laundry facilities, fully stocked store, gift shop, bar and restaurant.

Lake Koocanusa has a water span of 95 miles. Reaching from Libby dam to north of Cranbrook British Columbia, Canada.

There are 50 miles of water in Canada and 45 miles in Montana. You will find this beautiful resort 5 miles north of Libby Dam sitting right on the waters edge. Come enjoy fishing for Kamloops, Rainbow Trout, White Fish, Ling cod, and Kokanee Salmon.

Here the sun in the summer does not set till 10 pm and the sunrises at 5am, this will have you out on the lake and fishing before the first cup of coffee.

2012 Derby Apps will be available after January 20th 2012. Derby has been set as always for the weekend after Mother's Day.

Water Temp     48 degrees

Weather: 3 inches of snow left , it has been off andon raining all day.  Looks like we are going to warn up and stay in the high 20s for our lows.

Have a few fisherman on the lake everyday.

Rainbows are starting to bite had a  9.5 brought in yesterday.

Reports of 1.5-7 lbs being caught and put back.

Bulls are starting to bite and are getting an attitude.

KOKANE ARE STILL BEING CAUGHT IN THE COVES.

Cabins are still open tell December 23rd.(Discounted Prices)

RV Sites open as long as the weather allows.

Bar and Restaurant are open 7 days a week 10-9.

(December 1 we go to Friday, Saturdays, and Sudays only)

For those that are not into fishing we have endless shore for swimming and watercraft rentals to enjoy the day adventuring out on the water.

The Kootenai River below the dam is where the STATE RECORD RAINBOW TROUT 33.1 LBS was caught in 1998.

I am working on another playground for in the cabins area.

Please read all the information about  check-in and check-out times, cancellation policey, pet restrictions, number of persons allowed in each cabin or RV Site, and vechile allowances.  Please undersand that there are a lot of people here, that want to have a nice vacation also.  If bringing your pet is your decision please understand that not everyone likes dogs, and it is YOUR responsability to clean up after them and keep them with you.

Our lodge and store is fully equipped for supplying all of your needs.

We are open all year around, with an acception for January we are closed.  We will open up the second weekend of Febuary for Friday, Saturday, and Sundays.   Just call for the up dated information during the winter months and we are here always from April 15, to Dec 1, 7 days a week. 1-406-293-7474.
